Save time in water sample preparation. This family of laminar extraction disks offers easier, faster, and more economical testing of all water sample types compared with liquid-liquid or membranes and other solid phase alternatives. Crude samples can be handled without filter aids. Other applications such as pesticides in solid waste, and oil and grease are also covered in this six-page brochure.

New columns, processors make SPE 9x faster. New Speedisk® columns from J.T.Baker triple flow rate and decrease operating volumes to 1/3, leading to a nine-fold SPE speed increase. The new Speedisk® eight-page brochure explains how J.T.Baker's use of high-performance microparticles in SPE enables rapid, easy processing, and productivity gain. The brochure also introduces Speedisk® 48 and Speedisk® 96 Pressure Processors which distribute N2 to displace liquid and achieve uniform and continuously adjustable flow in every column in the batch. And column drying can be performed quickly and in-place.
Prepared by the J.T. Baker scientific staff, "Solid Phase Extraction for Sample Preparation" provides an overview of SPE theory and principles as well as examples of SPE applications encountered in everyday analytical situations. The 56-page technical manual also features a glossary of SPE terms, a troubleshooting guide, buffer pKa and pH ranges and physical constants of commonly used solvents.
